our friend cristhian asked us to please do a blog on winona ryder since she is on the new cover of uk elle. naturally we did just that. she is gorgeous, and strange enough to really love! in fact, a few years ago my sister and i were very into asking celebrities for autograph's. we must get that from our dad. many moons ago he was a busboy at the beverly hills hotel, and has an impressive list of autographs like all members of the beatles, and charlie chaplin, just to name a few. anyways i was at a dave pirner show (post soul asylum) and winona was hiding out backstage. i shyly asked her for an autograph, and she told me that she only gives them out to children, but she said i was nice so she would give me one. so now, i officially think winona is cool. enjoy cristhian!

sea fan

one of my favorite treasures is the sea fan we found in the turks and caicos. i love the top picture of my mom with it. its really a great accessory for your house, or for your photo shoot.

when i wasn't watching "the red balloon", or napping to the sounds of the the california ocean this memorial day weekend, i was working on my green thumb. there will be plenty to eat with my tomatoes, dill, basil, parsley and thyme plants. and we will see how the indoor plants turn up this year. supposedly a mass of mint will sprout from the egg planter!

my birthday came a few weeks early this year thanks to my very kind husband. my new GOLD camera with be put to lots of good use, especially in the upcoming weeks. can't wait to start snapping away again!
