Every winter i feel the need to break out the knitting needles. This year has been all about knitting on round needles, and making turtleneck scarves. I have a short list of requests, so my hands will be busy for the next few months.
This is a scene from the kitchen. Loving this flour jar with the chalkboard label. You never have to be surprised about what ingredients you are using. Next to that is a pretty water bottle kept after a night out pali house. Its so great that a few of todays companies still keep that antique glass look that so many people still love. Add some dried roses, and it makes a pretty arrangement.
Some friends came over for dinner on Saturday night. Instead of the usual flowers or a bottle of wine they brought us home grown vegetables and herbs. A really cool gift. This meal is what became of their gift.
